Cloud Surgical Solutions Receives Awards

Morganton ­ Cloud Surgical Solutions and Chasity Poteat-Lehn recently received awards from the Carolinas Healthcare Public Relations and Marketing Society (CHPRMS) at the annual Fall Educational Conference. CHPRMS is the regional society of the American Hospital Association's Society for Healthcare Strategy and Market Development.

Each year, the society recognizes excellence in health care marketing, public relations, and communications. CHPRMS received over 250 entries from North and South Carolina for the 2004 awards. Judging was conducted by the New England Society of Healthcare Marketing and Public Relations and entries were judged by their response to a given problem, quality and appropriateness of materials, cost effectiveness and results.

Cloud Surgical Solutions was honored with a Gold Award in the category of Single Audience Publication for their New Patient Welcome Packet. These packets are distributed to all new patients upon arrival to Cloud Surgical Solutions. The packet includes information about the practice, Dr. Cloud and health conditions evaluated and treated at Cloud Surgical Solutions.

Poteat-Lehn is the director of patient and physician relations at Cloud Surgical Solutions in Morganton.
