End the Pain & Appearance of Varicose Veins – for good!

Morganton - Approximately 25 million Americans suffer from venous reflux disease, the leading cause of varicose veins. Venous reflux is a condition that develops when the valves that normally keep blood flowing out of the legs become damaged or diseased causing blood to pool in the legs. Common symptoms of venous reflux include pain, swelling, leg heaviness and fatigue, as well as varicose veins in the legs. Traditionally, patients who were diagnosed with venous reflux would undergo painful vein removal or "vein stripping". Today, patients can be treated with the VNUS® Closure® system, a minimally invasive alternative to vein stripping and patients can resume their normal activities usually within 24-48 hours as compared to 2-4 weeks with traditional vein stripping.

If you suffer from one or more of the symptoms listed above and would like to learn more about the causes and treatment options for venous reflux and varicose veins, you should attend the free Varicose Vein Seminar hosted by Dr. David Ellertson, Jr. of Cloud Surgical Solutions on Monday, April 24 at 6:00 pm in the lobby of his office.

Dr. Ellertson, Jr. is board certified by the American Board of Surgery and specializes in cardiothoracic, vascular and general surgery. For more information or to reserve seating, please contact Chasity at (828) 437-0847.
