Services A Few of the Health Conditions Evaluated & Treated at Cloud Surgical Solutions

General & Laparoscopic Surgeries

Colonoscopy & Stomach Endoscopy: Screening for colon cancer, removal of polyps, diagnosis and treatment of stomach ulcers, evaluation for abdominal pain.

Gall Bladder: laparoscopic treatment of gallstones and gall bladder disease.

Splenectomy: laparoscopic surgical removal of the spleen for conditions such as ITP, hemolytic anemia, and enlargement of the spleen due to many conditions.

Appendicitis and Emergency Intestinal Conditions: Many different types of abdominal problems first become evident as episodes of severe abdominal pain; including bowel obstructions, appendicitis, Crohn's disease, diverticulitis, stomach and colon perforations, colitis, and incarcerated (trapped) hernias. Many require emergency surgery.

Hemorrhoids, Anal Fissures and Abscesses: Fortunately, most of the time these conditions can be treated without surgery, but when surgery is the only option we offer our patients a less painful approach by using the Procedure for Prolapse and Hemorrhoids (PPH).

Rectal Bleeding or Vomiting Blood:Problems causing these symptoms obviously provoke great anxiety and we can evaluate and treat many of them with endoscopy, medication, and sometimes surgery.

Hernias (groin, abdominal, hiatal and umbilical hernias):
    • Bard® Kugel™ Hernia Repair: A less invasive laparoscopic approach to treating groin hernias by using the Bard® Kugel™ hernia patch. The hernia repair is impleted through one small incision instead of 3 puncture wounds. The patch covers the entire inguinal floor, minimizing the chance of hernia recurrence and protects against future hernias in this area. Most patients can return to work within a week of surgery.
Acid Reflux (heartburn, hiatal hernia): In most cases medication is sufficient, but if medication fails to relieve heartburn or reflux, or if you have problems with swallowing, Barrett's disease, or asthma related to acid reflux, surgery is often indicated. In most cases, the surgical approach is with small incisions using the laparoscope.
    • Achalasia: A rare condition causing difficulty swallowing. Surgery can be performed with small incisions using the laparoscope to open up the esophagus.
Moles, Warts, Enlarged Lymph Nodes, Cuts, and Cysts & Tumors Under the Skin

Breast Conditions: Breast lumps and concerns raised by mammograms and ultrasound images of the breast. Breast biopsy (needle localization, sterotactic breast biopsy, open biopsy & ultrasound guided breast biopsy). Diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer (lumpectomy, partial & total mastectomy, sentinel node biopsy & mammosite radiation therapy system).

Gastroparesis: Enterra® Therapy: (gastric pacemaker) for the treatment of chronic, intractable (drug refractory) nausea and vomiting secondary to gastroparesis of diabetic or idiopathic etiology. Enterra® Therapy uses mild electrical pulses to stimulate the stomach and reduces the symptoms of nausea and the number of vomiting episodes.
